Customisable car key to help curb road mayhem

It occurred to me this morning that one thing to help curb our road toll would be a digital car key that can be customised to different driver profiles.

Say you want your 18-y-o to drive your car (god forbid) you'd have programmed your own key, or spare key, to prevent that driver to accelerate excessively, drive too close to a car in front, etc. – anything you inventive guys can think of...

As a driver fast approaching the need for a self-driving e-vehicle, I see too many horrid situations on the road on the rare occasions I now venture forth – usually once per week for shopping – in my 20-year-old VW T4. So anything that could help here would be welcome.

I waive my rights to this potential invention in the public interest.
