We welcome 11,000 Tuvalu climate refugees...
... and the $A 500 million bribe our Prime Miser intends to spend on them would go for toward building homes for all of them in Australia.
Of course Mr Morrison is a realpolitik politico, so perhaps we should advise him to spend the money in his own electorate - which could net him an instant 11,000 votes come the next election...
Needless to say, it would perhaps alienate the same or greater number of Morrie voters: that's politics, you win some you lose some LOL
But climate change will put paid to all such endeavours anyhow, whether the U.S. turns Australia into a giant aircraft carrier or not... Interesting that no-one ever totes up the cost of flying modern jet-fighters above our bush block for hours on end most days - civil aviation is reported to make up almost a third of all carbon dioxide emissions so how much do war games contribute?
The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind...
