Dear ABC Radio National,
you are of course my preferred source of shameless repeats, endless 'promos' and semi-literate news reporting (sorry Fran, but it's brought not bought)...
But it still took my breadth away this morning to hear your Brisbane reporter, seemingly in thrall to the powers that be, describe the U.S./Australian jets, tanks, helicopters, drones and a frigate or two in a Queensland manoeuvre as "assets"!
"Liabilities" would be the only word appropriate to describe billions of wasted dollars in a re-run of cold war hysteria...
Shame on you, ABC!
