Pet Peeve

That will be my new web site - and let me tell you straight off that I shall not rpt not refer to anything Google, or the Americans - even though the recent practice of our allies of conducting low-level training flights with a swarm of fighter jets suring all hours and in the middle of a total fire ban reeks of deliberate provocation! - or the behaviour of hordes of drivers trying out stunt maneouvres on our winding little piece of road...

So, none of this. But it occurred to me that a site where all and sundry can expound on THEIR preferred pet peeve, AND invite officials possibly concerned by e-mailing them directly might just be what we need...

Of course I shall invite a number of public officials directly to the web site/blog, so when they see a lot of public interest they just may be interested to try some action of their own.

Remember: the meek shall inherit the mess, as I don't tire of saying.

NB: I'm off now to spend my otherwise inactive Sunday (waiting for dire fire conditions to return) sounding out Google about possible sites, templates they may have for my purpose...

PS: Would you believe it? Google has a number of sites available for rent, I opted for PetPeeve.net at $44/yr - only to be told the esteemed provider can not allow private people to get such sites...

So what next? Shall I pursue this idea or let it lapse - mainly because it's 35C ATM here and I have heaps of useful work to do in the house, in the shed, under the van and so on...
